The Sandman Library volume 2: The Doll’s House by Neil Gaiman

The Sandman universe gets stronger and more fluid in The Sandman Library volume 2: The Doll’s House, whose central storyline focuses on the once-every-era dream vortex, Rose Walker. Apart from the various ‘star’ characters, I did not recall the stories from my previous reading, including the by-the-by story break of the man who refuses to die, who Dream meets up with every 100 years at the same tavern. The part I found most interesting was the progression of fashion from the late 1880s to the late 1980s 😄. It didn’t seem to evolve very much before that, and then suddenly, kapow! I wonder if there’ll much change when the 2080s roll around.
