Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)

What else can one say about Star Wars: The Last Jedi, that hasn’t already been said? Naysayers and enthusiasts abound, but I, personally, enjoyed it.

I especially liked the scenes in the red room and on the salty red planet. And the mirrored upon mirrored upon mirrored scenes of Rey inside the darkness of the island was quite spectacular – is she also drawn to the dark side? Is she the one who brings true balance to the force? And while others were speculating about who that little boy is at the end of the movie – is he the last Jedi? – I was more interested in the connection between Rey and Kylo Ren – why are they so strongly connected? And is Luke Skywalker really gone? What will become of Leia now that Carrie Fisher has passed on?

So many questions, and two years (maybe) to wait for answers. It’s just like floating rocks.
