Inferno by Dan Brown

After a mediocre The Lost Symbol, I feel Dan Brown is finally back on his game with Inferno. I enjoyed this book for a few reasons:

  1. I am now curious to read Dante’s The Divine Comedy, although I don’t think I actually will. Poetry is not my most favourite genre after all.
  2. I’d like to visit Florence and tour these ‘secret’ corridors!
  3. I’ve actually been to the final city Langdon visits in this novel, so it was interesting to visualise the whole story playing out in these spaces. I’m not saying where, because this will definitely be a spoiler, ha!

I’m curious now to watch the movie – to see how much it’s stayed true or strayed from the path of the novel. No quotable quotes, but the story was paced well and kept me turning its pages.
