Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman by Haruki Murakami

It felt like fate reading Haruki Murakami’s Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman in Japan. A master of both the long novel and short story, Murakami takes us on many¬†journeys through lives filled with darkness and wonder in this collection of shorts. They don’t always make immediate sense or follow stock standard narratives, but each is filled with a little unescapable magic.
